Design with the template visible
A mockup helps catch problems that a flat file can hide. Photos can feel too low, logos can sit too close to the camera area, and text can become unreadable once the design is seen as a product. Use this route to check proportion, contrast, edge spacing, and overall visual balance before downloading artwork for a store listing, gift preview, customer proof, or production handoff.
Review before production
The live editor is a design and preview aid. Before manufacturing or selling a case, confirm the exported PNG against the printer's required dimensions, bleed, safe area, color profile, file type, and model-specific template. Use the mockup to catch obvious placement issues, but rely on the production vendor's latest requirements for final approval.
